What is it?
The Browlift, also known as a forehead lift, is a surgical procedure aimed at repositioning or elevating the eyebrows.
When is it indicated?
This surgery is especially recommended for patients who experience a generalized drooping of the eyebrows, resulting in a tired, angry or aged appearance. It may also be suitable for those with an imbalance in the lateral third of the eyebrow compared to its medial third. These individuals may seek to enhance their gaze by adjusting the orientation of the eyebrow, raising its lateral third for a more elegant look
How is the procedure performed?
The Browlift procedure can be executed either through a concealed scar on the scalp (indirect browlift) or via a scar positioned on the eyebrow (direct browlift). The selection between these techniques should align with the individual characteristics of each patient.
Can it be combined with other surgeries?
This surgery is often performed in combination with blepharoplasty. The combination enhances rejuvenation of the periorbital region, improving the brightness and openness of the eyes.
